The IFS Station is a newly restored, two screen arthouse theater and 10,000 sq ft creative hub operated by the Idaho Film Society in the heart of downtown Boise. Just steps from the Capitol and a short walk to some of the city's best restaurants, our venue features a flexible event space, and a curated film lounge perfect for screenings, receptions, performances, workshops, and more.

From red carpet premieres and private screenings to corporate mixers, gallery shows, and film production basecamp, The Station offers a one-of-a-kind historic setting with modern amenities for every kind of event.

FAQS

    • The Station is a 21+ venue regardless of event type or absence of alcohol service.

    • Event Rental requests for weekday events must be submitted 30 days prior to the event date, requests for weekend events must be made 60 days prior to the event date.

  • Location: 1212 W Bannock St. Boise, ID 83702

    • Lobby Capacity: 180

    • Theater Capacity: 60

  • Private Screening Rates:

    • Wednesday - Thursday: $500 for a five-hour rental period

    • Friday - Sunday: $700 for a five-hour rental period

    Event Rates:

    • Standard: $1,500 for a six-hour rental period + $200 for each additional hour

    • Nonprofit: $800 for a six-hour rental period + $50 for each additional hour

    All screenings and event rates are inclusive of designated staffing for bar, concessions, projection and audio visual services.

  • The Station has a preferred caterer through Idaho Provisions, though you may use an outside caterer for your event.

    No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted, if you have specific beverage requests our team will work with you on providing those beverages.
