OUR Mission
The Idaho Film Society aims to pioneer meaningful cinematic experiences within our communities by designing a space where makers and their audiences can create, share, and grow.
Say hello to our new home at the old greyhound station.
The Station Theater
The IFS Movie Theater (along with our ten curators) hosts hand-pick films from around the world and across genres 3-4 days a week. All screenings feature a variety of intros, discussions, special guests, and Q&As to grow and expand our appreciation for diverse cinema in Boise.
Private Work Spaces / Screening Room
Need to get work done but require a bit of space? We’ll have on-site work rooms available for day or week-long rentals, for a nominal fee. Camera prep spaces for local film productions, and an HQ for production teams to prep and even host wrap parties in our bar and lounge!
Production SoundStage
Our production stage will be the largest in Idaho. Fit for all manner of production sizes; from student films to agency shoots with a sliding scale for rentals.
Film + Gear Rental Facility
No longer will Idaho productions have to drive to Salt Lake City or Portland for gear pickups. With our on-site rental facility we can keep production costs down and tied to Idaho.
