The Idaho Film Society welcomes home one of Idaho’s own — Nigel Goodwin, Associate Principal Counsel of Business & Legal Affairs at Marvel Studios, for a special afternoon of stories, insights, and inspiration.
From Loki to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to Deadpool & Wolverine, Nigel has been behind the scenes of some of the biggest films and series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’ll share a rare insider’s perspective on what it’s like to negotiate with actors, writers, and directors, navigate the high-stakes world of studio filmmaking, and support Marvel’s iconic creative teams.
But beyond Hollywood, this evening is about connection — Nigel grew up in Eagle, Idaho, and his path from small-town Idaho kid to Marvel Studios attorney is proof that there’s no single way into the film industry. Whether you’re a filmmaker, storyteller, or film fan, this talk is a reminder that the creative world needs voices from everywhere — especially Idaho.
